The Healing Power of Touch

FAQ's and General Info

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy involves kneading muscles and soft tissues of the body to help relieve tension, increase circulation and bring about a total feeling of relaxation. Massage helps ease the symptoms of certain diseases and conditions and is a powerful tool for overall health and well being.

Our state licensed and nationally certified massage therapists offer a wide range of massage techniques, including:

  • Swedish
  • Deep Tissue
  • Neuromuscular/Trigger Point Therapy
  • Cranio Sacral Therapy
  • Sports Massage
  • Zen Shiatsu
  • Myofascial Release
To ensure that your massage session meets your needs, we encourage you to talk to your therapist. The amount of pressure used during the massage can be adjusted according to your needs and comfort level.

Reflexology
Reflexology consists of applying pressure with thumbs and fingers to specific areas or points on the feet, hands, or ears, which correspond to the body’s organs and systems. The deep relaxing feeling of the session is enhanced with soothing lotions and allows you to let go of your anxieties and worries and helps you put all your energy into healing and becoming well. Reflexology is not a cure for medical diseases or disorders, but it can help to ease the discomforts of disease-related conditions, such as digestive problems, migraines, fibromyaligia and asthma.

Reiki
Reiki is a form of energy work that produces a feeling of restored peace of mind through its balancing and harmonizing effects. Light touch is applied on the clothed body to help restore physical and emotional well being. Since no pressure is applied, Reiki is ideal for people of all ages and can be used to reduce stress, relieve pain, and strengthen the immune system.
